Hegid is adding a touch of color to its range. The Laboratoire Colorama is a new automatic watch with a chromatic curiosity which, associated with pigmented, natural rubber straps, adds new possibilities of configurations to the range of Hegid evolutionary watches. Three years ago, Hegid introduced the patented EVOL® system, which allows its mechanical watches to be transformed in just a few seconds, while preserving their horological qualities.
The Laboratoire Colorama watch features an index at 12 o'clock that can change color on demand mechanically, by turning the crown of the Capsule. Depending on one's mood, style and upcoming events, this colorful touch allows to the wearer differentiate moments and express messages. This Pop-inspired fantasy, combined with the luminescent indexes and hands, also enhances the readability of the sandwich dial.
Hegid Laboratoire Colorama watches are currently available for pre-order on hegid.com. Delivery of the watches is anticipated from the end of December 2021. Capsules, Carrures and Straps of the Colorama range can also be ordered separately on hegid.com and will be available directly in stores from January 2022.
To celebrate the French identity of the Maison, Hegid is offering a limited edition of 10 numbered Laboratoire Colorama ' Blue White Red ' sets, only available for pre-order on hegid.com and in the Hegid boutique in Paris. The delivery of the ' Blue White Red ' sets is expected in January 2022.

The mechanical heart of the Laboratoire Colorama is characterized by its sandwich dial with a chromatic index at 12 o'clock that can change color (red, orange, yellow, green, kaki, bronze, pink, white, black, blue and blue-white-red) on demand mechanically, by turning the crown of the watch.
The hands and indexes of the Capsule Laboratoire Colorama are luminescent, and the rotor of its Swiss automatic movement, which is visible on the back, is open-worked and marked with EVOLUTION.
The Capsule Laboratoire Colorama (whose crown, tube and caseback are screwed) is water resistant to 100 meters and features a power reserve of 40 hours.
The Laboratoire Carrure, with its Art Deco lines, opts for elegance and refinement.
This quality makes it a perfect match for the various Capsules and straps of the Hegid catalog, each with their very distinct style.
Designed and manufactured from the finest steels (316L 4441) by master craftsmen in France, the Carrure is both durable and sophisticated.
With an initial palette of 6 colors, the Liberté natural rubber straps with stitching, reinforce Hegid's chromatic bias with the Laboratoire Colorama.
Robust and comfortable, they can be easily combined with the other interchangeable Hegid collections and enable the timepieces to be used underwater.
Hegid watches are composed of three parts: the Capsule, the Carrure and the Strap. The different elements that compose the Laboratoire Colorama can be acquired separately and adapted to the pre-existing Hegid watches. The wearer’s timepiece wardrobe can instantly be changed and adapted according to desires and needs. Hegid’s patented Evol system allows individuals to never get tired of a watch by creating your own evolution and now offered with a splash of color.

EVOL COMPATIBILITY
The different elements that compose the Laboratoire Colorama watch can be adapted to pre-existing Hegid watches, and vice versa.
