Hegid Vision : montre outil, touche française

Hegid Vision : tool watch, French Touch

Hegid Vision : tool watch, French Touch

Hegid, the French Maison of Evolutionary Watchmaking, is revamping its inaugural model for the first time with a new design for its Vision line. Hegid's sports watch has been modernized, enhanced legibility, maintained its challenge-ready specifications, and strengthened its status as a perfect tool for professionals.

Under the guidance of its Art Director Jérôme Coste, Hegid embraces the codes of a watchmaking icon, the toolwatch, with an equally practical and audacious interpretation. Introduced in 2018, at the launch of the Hegid brand and the revelation of its patented EVOL dress complication, the Vision watch stands out thanks to the main marker on its rotating bezel: a circular luminescent index surrounded by two arrow indications. With a glance or touch, in the air or underwater, the Vision allows modern adventurers to measure time past, and anticipate the time to come. The Vision's dynamic curves are continuously enhanced by a delicate combination of reliefs and alternating shiny and satin textures.

The new Millésime of the Vision features a streamlined steel case with a bi-directional rotating bezel, now adorned in ceramic. Its geometric, newly luminescent, chronometric markers offer greater legibility even in poor lighting conditions. The watch's grooved dial also gains in clarity and precision thanks to the graduations in its center and on its flange. All indexes, which go hand in hand with the bezel markers, have been enlarged. The hour markers at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o'clock, unprecedented in many respects, take the form of metal circles split into four, indicating the corresponding quarter-hour. The Vision hands feature an increased sophistication, notably with the seconds hand now boasting an alternating white and red coloring with sporty inspirations, and a Hegid monogram.

The robust Swiss-Made automatic movement, housed in a shock-resistant steel and titanium capsule locked in its sturdy carrure, is visible through a thick sapphire crystal on the back of the watch. The only point of the caliber in contact with the exterior, its screw-down winding crown, now benefits from the protective crown protector of the new Vision case. Hegid's Vision is made for action, resists pressure and is not afraid of turbulence. It is the only sports watch that promises no records, but is committed to accompanying its user everywhere: from cities to circuits, from studios to summits. The key is to visualize it in a specific universe, and then seek your adventures. The Vision is a reliable companion.

Finally, for ultimate comfort in all situations, the Hegid Vision timepiece comes in a box with two ultra-resistant interchangeable straps: the Performance strap in striped fabric, an original creation inspired by extreme military equipment, and the Liberté strap in natural rubber, which is also resistant to both water and stress.

The Hegid mechanical watches, consisting of three component parts, can be transformed in just a few seconds, while maintaining their precision horological qualities. The various modules that compose the Vision can be purchased separately and adapted to pre-existing Hegid watches, according to desires and needs. This allows the wearer unlimited creative options.

All Hegid products are designed to last, and are responsibly manufactured in reputable workshops. The Vision capsules and cases are designed, manufactured and assembled in France, at the Swiss border, where the movements are made.

The watches from the Vision collection of Hegid will be available for pre-order on hegid.com, from April 2024. The capsules, carrures and straps in the collection can be ordered separately on hegid.com and in retailer boutiques, including the Hegid showroom at 8 rue Volney in Paris.
