Hegid, the French Maison of Evolutionary Watchmaking, introduces the first subscription watch of its history. It offers its customers the opportunity to collaborate with the brand's teams to leave an everlasting trace of their existence.

Since its creation, Hegid, whose mission is to offer the most technically and aesthetically durable timepieces thanks to its EVOL system, has been offering a watchmaking substance at the service of its customers' creativity. The brand is already a reference in watchmaking personalization with its interchangeable capsules, cases and straps. Now, for the first time ever, Hegid is offering its community the chance to go beyond configuration by directly integrating the manufacturing process of the watch.

As a result, every subscriber of the EXPEDITION Série Noire will have the opportunity to make it unique by engraving it with a personal design or message. This inscription will then be coated with Hegid's unique Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) treatment, which will forever hold the message in the material. With this eternal marking, Hegid targets those who want to leave a trace of their passage on this earth, and who want to assert their originality on a daily basis on their wrist, as others would with a tattoo on the skin.

Today, there are very few objects that are capable of travelling across time and space. Hegid watches are one of them. This immutable version of the EXPEDITION is built both to explore the world for decades and to carry the message of its rare initial owners to future generations.

For this mission, Hegid's exploration watch, whose body is inspired by adventurers' off-road vehicles, is stealthy this time. This black version will be produced in a limited edition of 30 numbered, customizable pieces. In a dark, carbon-matte livery, it will stand the test of time.

The traditionally bold, unrestrained lines of the EXPEDITION watch are slightly smoothed out by a fine, integral micro blasting in the Série Noire limited edition. The case, made from two assembled steel parts coated with matte Diamond-like Carbon (DLC), reveals the asymmetrical, powerful silhouette of the watch. Its strong physiognomy is reinforced by a massive crown protector reminiscent of the grilles of the four-wheel-drive machines.

The black dial of the EXPEDITION capsule, with its grained texture, is adorned with furtive chronometric markers that awaken when they meet the light. The hour markers and hands are made of Super-Luminova 3D blocks, a manufacturing technology at the cutting edge of the watchmaking industry that enables optimal readability when activated by ultraviolet rays. The EXPEDITION Série Noire watch is delivered with a UV lamp, providing instant and clear time reading in the night. The seconds hand boasts two counterbalanced parts. It allows precise chronometric measurements to be taken every 30 seconds, using either the graduation on the flange or the inner graduation on the dial. For longer adventures, the EXPEDITION has a date window at 4 o'clock .

The robust automatic movement of the EXPEDITION, the French-made Hegid Specimen FE-01 Caliber, housed in a highly shock-resistant steel and titanium capsule locked in its sturdy case is visible through a sapphire crystal on the back of the watch. The watch's rugged architecture serves a high-precision watchmaking engine that complies with the strictest industry standards. Hegid's EXPEDITION is made for adventure: it's resistant to impact, easily accommodates both mud and immersion (up to 10 bars), while displaying the time with the utmost precision (-4/+6 seconds per day). The crown of the EXPEDITION Série Noire capsule is also Diamond-like Carbon (DLC) coated.

Finally, for ultimate comfort in all situations, the Hegid EXPEDITION timepiece comes in a wood case with two all-black, interchangeable, ultra-resistant straps: the Mission strap in black calf leather for superior durability, and the Courage strap in matte black rubber.

The Hegid mechanical watches, consisting of three component parts, can be transformed in just a few seconds, while maintaining their precision horological qualities. The various modules that compose the EXPEDITION Série Noire can be adapted to pre-existing Hegid watches, according to your desires and needs. This allows the wearer unlimited, creative options .

The 30 limited-edition Hegid EXPEDITION Série Noire watches will be available for subscription on hegid.com and in Hegid's network from Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 6 p.m, CEST (Paris time).
