Hegid x Ceizer - "GOOD TIMES"
The French evolutionary watchmaking Maison, Hegid, is pleased to present the second artistic collaboration in its history: "GOOD TIMES." Born from the encounter between Hegid's durable watchmaking and the colorful typographic universe of artist Pieter Ceizer, this limited edition invites us not just to endure time, but to celebrate it with a smile.

A REUNION FUELED BY CREATIVITY
At the origin of this project lies a long-standing artistic connection. Jérôme Coste, Hegid’s Creative Director, and Pieter Ceizer have known each other since the golden age of the Parisian concept store Colette, where their respective creations already rubbed shoulders. It was this shared desire to explore new creative territories and bring a dose of good cheer to everyday life that motivated this new alliance. The ‘GOOD TIMES’ watch is a mechanical manifesto for joie de vivre.
"I have followed Pieter's work since the wonderful days of Colette. His ability to transform words and shapes into positive energy has always fascinated me. With “GOOD TIMES”, we wanted to capture this spontaneity and integrate it into the rigor of watchmaking and our EVOL system. It is a watch that doesn't just tell the time; it brings a smile." — Jérôme Coste, Creative Director of Hegid.

DECONSTRUCTING TIME TO BETTER APPRECIATE IT
Visually, the “GOOD TIMES” watch stands out with an uninhibited approach to reading time. On a sunray dial, Ceizer’s signature typography comes to life in an explosion of bright colors. The hour markers are intentionally placed out of order—a philosophical invitation not to take time, or oneself, too seriously. The fluid second hand flies over a smiley face, reminding us that every instant counts. A poetic touch is hidden in the capsule’s date window: here, numbers give way to words. Each day, a 'MOOD OF THE DAY' (such as "JOY", "RAD", "SEX") appears, transforming the first glance at one’s watch into a daily ritual of optimism.
"I am an insatiable artist, a jack-of-all-trades who often works with six arms on seven pieces at the same time, across all types of mediums. Every day, I run out of time to bring to life all the creations my mind generates. My life is a race against the clock where the hours blur together, and that is the spirit of ‘GOOD TIMES’. Watchmaking is often very serious. With this watch, I wanted to break that linearity. If the numbers are mixed up, it's also to remind us that the present moment is more important than what time it is; it's choosing to look on the bright side of things, every day of the week." — Pieter Ceizer, Artist.

TECHNICAL MASTERY SERVING ART
True to Hegid's DNA, the "GOOD TIMES" watch is not static. Thanks to Hegid's patented EVOL system, the watch can be transformed in seconds, without tools. The "GOOD TIMES" capsule—dressed here in the new livery of the Laboratoire case and a Virage strap in solar yellow quilted leather—can transform at will to adapt to a sportier or dressier case or strap from the Hegid collections. This modularity allows Ceizer's work to integrate perfectly into Hegid's sustainable ecosystem.
The "GOOD TIMES" watch is equipped with the Hegid Specimen FE-01 caliber, made in France. Hegid timepieces are designed, manufactured, and assembled in France. The Virage straps in Nappa leather, original for their quilted strands, are also crafted in French workshops.
The Hegid x Ceizer "GOOD TIMES" collaboration watches, limited to 30 pieces, will be available for pre-order on hegid.com and in stores — notably at the boutique at 8 rue Volney in Paris — over the coming weeks.

ABOUT PIETER CEIZER
Pieter Ceizer is an Amsterdam raised, Paris based typographer and artist. Known for his witty letter-and-line drawings, playfully blending words and shapes, creating a colorful universe of humor, poetry and empowerment. As a multidisciplinary artist, he works across a wide variety of mediums: painting, screen printing, drawing, metal, wood, and canvas. His work is exhibited internationally, from Tokyo to Miami, and has shared the walls of museums, galleries, and prestigious auction houses alongside legends such as Robert Indiana, Takashi Murakami, Karel Appel, and Yves Klein. Pieter Ceizer expresses himself just as well on an infinitely small scale, as seen here in watchmaking, as he does through monumental works, like his 4-meter-tall (13-foot) sculptures at Schiphol Airport and the Museumplein in Amsterdam. His unique universe has also led world-renowned brands to approach him for cutting-edge artistic partnerships (Nike, Ralph Lauren, PSG, Evian, Coca-Cola...).
