Hegid watches are made to last and are part of an environmentally friendly approach. They are designed to be easily repaired by watchmakers, and most of the several hundred parts that compose them are recyclable.

Each Hegid capsule features a durable, repairable, and, above all, high-quality automatic mechanical movement that is regulated beyond industry standards. The movements of the Maison's watches are delivered with a minimum accuracy of -4 to +6 seconds, aligned with the famous COSC "chronometer" certification.

EVOL System
Hegid's patented EVOL system, which allows you to change the style or function of your watch in a few seconds and in complete safety, is based on these two parts. The ring with 3 prongs in Grade 5 Titanium rotates slightly around the body of the 316L steel capsule to, with a "click", lock a capsule in a case. A metal spring applies compression to ensure the solidity of the assembly and the comfort of wearing. The design and the selected cutting-edge materials allow the system patented by Hegid to be used daily for decades without wearing out.

Due to their versatile nature, Hegid watches meet the specifications of professional watches. The brand's capsules are resistant to common shocks, are water-resistant to a depth of over 100 meters, and withstand pressures of 10 bars. This hermeticity to external elements, which makes Hegid watches ultra-versatile, is made possible by multiple shock-absorbing systems, a screw-down crown, a screw-down tube, and a screw-down caseback.

The cases of Hegid watches are genuine made in France steel shields. They provide comfort when worn, protect the capsules and therefore the movements of the Maison's watches, but, at Hegid, they also fulfill the role of watch dresses. Thanks to the EVOL technical system developed by the brand, each case is interchangeable, and therefore, a capsule can be dressed in a few seconds with multiple cases of different styles and functions. With this in mind, the case models are diverse. From classic to sporty to futuristic, the Hegid watch changes its look to suit its wearer's desires.

Materials
Hegid manufactures, assembles, and puts the finishing touches on its pieces in France, in expert, human-scale workshops. The materials used to make Hegid watches are all hypoallergenic, comfortable, durable, and their finishes are always superior. The Maison offers exclusive polishing and material treatments for dazzling aesthetic results. Grade 5 Titanium is used for the EVOL ring, 316L Steel of European standard DIN 1.4441 is used for capsules and cases, while Ceramic and Aluminum are represented in the bezel inserts. Hegid uses very little gold or diamonds in its creations, and always ensures the ethics and provenance of its materials. Most of the metals used by Hegid are the result of recycling and are, in turn, recyclable.

Hegid pays great attention to its straps, which are the finishing touch, always interchangeable, of the Maison's watches. Hegid rubber straps are made in Italy from natural rubber, are hypoallergenic, do not irritate the skin, and are slightly scented with vanilla. Their buckles are made of 316L steel, also hypoallergenic. These straps are comfortable to wear, suitable for nautical use, and have optimal mechanical properties that make them resistant to deformation and heat.

Some of the interchangeable straps offered by Hegid are made of leather. Handcrafted in artisan workshops in France, they offer unique finishes, superior wearing comfort, and optimal durability. Fabric
For extreme uses with a strong style, Hegid offers textile straps. Hegid fabrics are comfortable, lightweight, and durable. They are suitable for nautical and desert use, in hot and icy environments. Hegid's NATO-style straps are available in two strands to best fit the wrist and avoid damaging the watch.

Since 2024, Hegid has been offering watches equipped with the Hegid Specimen FE-01 Caliber, developed and manufactured in France in collaboration with the historic France Ebauches manufacture, an integrated and independent watchmaking company, which has been manufacturing calibers for major Maisons in its workshops since 1966. Hegid's automatic mechanical movement features a robust modern architecture and offers elite technical specifications.
