All Hegid watches are water-resistant to a depth of at least 100 meters. To ensure the water resistance of your watch, the winding crown must be securely screwed down to hermetically seal the case. After each time, date, or other function setting, or after manually winding the watch, it is extremely important to ensure that the crown is screwed back in until it can no longer be turned. If exposed to seawater, rinse your watch thoroughly with fresh water to remove any salt and sand deposits.
